Petrol prices slashed for February

ISLAMABAD – The federal government on Monday reduced prices of petroleum products for the month of February, with petrol going down by Rs0.59 paisas per litre.

According to the ministry of finance, the new price for petrol would now be Rs90.38 per litre while the price of diesel Rs106.68 per litre.

The new rate for light diesel oil would be Rs75.03 per litre after its price was reduced by Rs0.25 paisas, the statement further added.

The prices shall be applicable from February 1.
